But, in true Alexis fashion, I knew it was time to evolve. By 2023, I felt the pull to shift focus from building other women’s personal brands to finally relaunching my own. Armed with years of experience, my unique framework (The Freedom Brand Framework™), and a nudge from God, I launched my personal brand website in the summer of 2023.

Today, my purpose remains the same: to help women show up in the world with clarity and confidence, elevating their lives and finances. But now, I do this as a brand partner, guiding women to discover their essence, infuse it into their work, and create personal brands that leave lasting legacies. It’s the work I was always meant to do—but I didn’t see it clearly until I chose obedience.

I’m often called “multi-passionate,” though I prefer multi-hyphenate or multi-faceted 🤷🏾‍♀️. Let’s just say I’m known for wearing a lot of hats.

My journey began as a self-taught makeup artist in the fashion and entertainment industries of New Orleans and New York City. Over the years, I had the privilege of working on campaigns for brands like Gap, Neiman Marcus, Maybelline, Donna Karan, Zac Posen, Essence Magazine, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Vanity Fair—just to name a few.

Along the way, I taught myself photography and design, leading to over 100 creative photo shoots that I directed, cast, and styled. I collaborated with some of the world’s top modeling agencies, including IMG Models, Ford, and Wilhelmina, to bring big campaigns to life.

In 2017, I combined everything I had learned about marketing, brand development, and digital strategy to launch Lex Creative Studios. For 7 years now, I've helped women entrepreneurs rebrand their businesses with confidence and creativity, delivering brand photography, brand identity design, and authentic websites. Watching my clients transform into industry experts, diversify their income, and grow their communities has been pure joy.
